The Transformational Educational Adventure Center and its many wonderful programs are designed to offer grade-school age kids in the NOVA areas of Tysons, Mclean, Vienna, and Falls Church areas activities for before and after school, summer camp, and preschool. Leadership is a foundational skill that is taught as part of each and every activity. The faculty at the T.E.A Center see that all of the students are enriched socially, emotionally, and intellectually.
Who can participate in the activities at The T.E.A. Center?
The Transformational Educational Adventure Center is a unique center that was created to offer kids a place to go where they and participate in arts and crafts, get help with their homework, have access to an onsite library with a large selection of books ( over 5000+). All of the services and activities are open to all children Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade in the Tyson’s, Mclean, Vienna, and Falls Church, Virginia communities.
The T.E.A. Center is a unique partnership between the center staff, kids, parents, and schools to ensure that every student has access to all of the amazing activities that are being offered every day, and they even extend well beyond when the schools shut down for the summer.
Summer Camp Program
The Summer Camp Program is one of the many different programs that are part of the T.E.A. Center experience. The Summer Camp consists of ten-week-long sessions that are uniquely themed to help each of the campers to get the most out of each of the planned activities. Each of the sessions is open from 6:45 am through 6:45 pm per day to all students kindergarten through 8th grade.
All of the 10 weekly sessions consist of the following features
– Food for breakfast and snacks are part of cost the program with lunch being offered at an additional cost
– Several field trips are scheduled for each week
– Water sports and other social events (Ice Cream Socials) are included
– Reading and writing activities
– Leadership training is a big part of the activities
– Family time is highly encouraged
– Each session has a theme and most activities are related to the theme
Registration for Summer Camp
Each and every child that wishes to participate in the Transformational Educational Adventure Center must apply for acceptance and then enroll. Each year they open up registration for anyone who lives in the specific area around the center which is located Mclean, Virginia area. You are highly encouraged to enroll as quickly as you can if you want to get your child into the T.E.A. Center as the sessions tend to fill up quickly. It is important to realize that a child must be enrolled for at least one weekly session.
